Enter your idea for Spring 2024
Spring invites young people aged 15-19 to develop solutions that will make the future better. This year, the aim of the competition is to inspire young people to come up with over 1,000 new solutions. Three winning teams will have the opportunity to promote their ideas with the support of the best talent in Finland.
Now in its second year, the Spring Ideas Contest gives young people the chance to make a difference on issues that matter to them. The aim of the competition is to strengthen young people’s belief in the future and their sense of agency.
I am glad that my friends and I participated in Spring. I would recommend it to all young people who want to turn their ideas into reality and make a difference.
Kia Kauppila, one of the winners of Spring last spring with her team
Last time the competition attracted 161 entries from 68 different locations. Young people voted for the winning ideas to teams that reduced plastic use, increased young people’s knowledge about national defense, and made computing more sustainable. The young people who took part in Spring particularly praised the collaborative spirit of the competition and the opportunity to develop their own ideas with some of Finland’s best sparring partners.
Last spring, we watched young people develop their ideas with tremendous enthusiasm and expertise, supported by professionals. Young people have the ability to tackle today’s challenges in new and insightful ways. Spring offers young people a concrete and unique way to influence the future.
