These teams compete for the title of Spring-winners 2025
The finalists of the Spring Idea Competition 2025 solve the climate crisis, mental health problems, and equality issues with their ideas. All young people under the age of 20 will be able to vote for their favorite of the six Spring-finalists during 23.4.–5.5.2025.

The Spring Idea Competition, produced by The Foundation for Children and Youth, invites young people aged 15-19-years old to learn about ideation and change the world. This Spring a total of 133 teams participated in Spring. The Spring-jury selected six of these to advance to the final stage of the competition:
Idea 1: Kalaheijastimet
The Helsinki and Espoo based team consisting of Léna, Teean, Klaara, Hildan and Karo wants to develop an environmentally friendly reflector made out of fish skin and scales.
Idea 2: Cleaning Cyance
Shania, Sabrina and Kerttu from Helsinki present their solution, in which blue-green algae is used to clean the environment.
Idea 3: NODEPO
Andreas, Veli, Carl and Magnus from Helsinki prevent gambling addiction amongst young people through a campaign.
Idea 4: ThriftySwipe
Tampere based Serra, Mikaela and Venice develops a fashion app, that will make finding second-hand clothing in your taste easier.
Idea 5: BioLöBö
Nicklas, Elias, Eetu and Markus from Janakkala aim to produce domestic biogas for the needs of road traffic.
Idea 6: Into The New World
Sofia, Mirana and Leila from Helsinki want to develop a mobile app that will make it easier for other immigrants to integrate into Finnish society.
The public vote is open during 23.4.–5.5.2025
Young people from all over Finland will select the Spring-winners. The public vote, for all young persons under the age of 20, will be open during 23.4.–5.5.2025. The three teams with the most votes will win the idea competition.
The Spring final broadcast presents all six finalist teams and their ideas. The half-hour broadcast is suitable for use during a school lesson and offers a chance to learn more about developing ideas as well as a showcase of the finalist ideas.
The Spring-winners will be announced on 7.5.2025. The three winning teams will be awarded with a summer job and a study trip to Lisbon, during which they develop their ideas into something concrete.
