Matchpoint, Kupla, and Ecoinsight are the winners of Spring 2024
The winning ideas of the competition aim to create a more hopeful world through making it easier to find friends for hobbies, improving the culture of discussion, and by countering loss of biodiversity.
The winners of the Spring Idea Competition have been chosen. The winning teams are rewarded with a summer job, where they have the opportunity to develop their ideas into something concrete with the help of experts from various industries. The summer job includes a study visit to Copenhagen as well.
The idea competition, organized for the second time this spring, invited all young people aged 15 to 19 to form teams of 3-5 persons and develop ideas which aim to make the world a better place. Spring inspired thousands of young people to work on ideas both in schools and in their free time. A total of 159 teams participated with their idea. Out of these, the Spring jury chose the twelve most promising to join the Spring-weekend, from which six teams then moved on to the final. The winners of the competition were chosen in the live broadcast on Yle Areena on 7.5.
